Dell Virtual Campus

Brief

Wanting to expand their brand’s footprint in Higher Education, Dell Technologies came to Double A Labs to help connect through virtual events and digital media. Dell required a central hub to host the program’s content, and invite university students to engage with and create content for it.

Objectives

  • Expand Dell’s footprint into higher education in a unique and authentic way

  • Source influential university students to serve as Dell brand ambassadors for their campuses

  • Promote Dell products through 3D assets, brand ambassador-created content

  • Craft a year-long digital experience filled with monthly releases of campaign content, speaker events and interactable objects

Concept

Built using Double A Labs’ Phygital World platform, the Dell Virtual Campus was designed and built to showcase Dell Talks, a content series we produce to provide engaging, relevant content for University students.

Result

The Dell Virtual Campus offers a platform for Dell student advocates from eight Universities to connect with their fans and share their stories on a global scale. This gamified, web-based environment invites students to play the University-focused content, engage with the Brand Advocate avatars, and enter into contests to win giveaways. Students can also interact with 3D Dell products, watch product videos, and link out to purchase them.
