What Information We Collect and How We Use It
We do not collect any personal information from you when you visit the Sites. We create a unique pseudonymous ID each time a visitor visits the Sites. This pseudonymous ID allows us to gather nonpersonal or anonymous information about you such as what sections of the Sites you visit, how long you remain, and what features you interact with. If you leave the Sites and return, a different unique pseudonymous ID is generated. We never link these IDs back to you as an individual visitor, nor do we do any stitching to determine if one pseudonymous ID is related to any other.
We do not use any first party or third party cookies. Therefore, because we do not track users’ online activities over time or across third party websites, we do not respond to browsers’ Do Not Track settings.
We use this nonpersonal or pseudonomous information to gather metrics about our site and site visitors on an aggregated scale so we can improve our services and the content we offer you. We may also use nonpersonal information for statistical analysis, fraud prevention, bug fixes, product development, content creation, site maintenance, traffic monitoring and site improvement.
We may share nonpersonal information that we collect with third parties, like Amazon Web Services, who perform services on our behalf that help us run our site and site features, monitor and analyze traffic, provide site security, prevent fraud and/or gather site metrics. We may also share your nonpersonal information in the event of a sale, merger or transfer of assets; as required by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary; in connection with litigation or threatened litigation; at your consent or direction; or otherwise as needed to operate our site.
